Rogue Valley Nonprofit Network

Mobilize Your Board to Raise More Money

Taprock Event Center 940 SE 7th St
Grants Pass

About this event

This event has been postponed to Monday, February 9, 2015
(it was originally scheduled for Tuesday February 3).

Andy Robinson, National Trainer & Consultant

Thanks to the generous support and partnership of the Ford Institute for Community Building, RVNN is pleased to present this workshop at no cost.

If your Board isn’t raising all the money it could—indeed, if your Board isn’t raising any money at all—you’re not alone. In this workshop, we’ll discuss the reasons why, and outline strategies to turn things around. You’ll leave with several practical, specific ideas for increasing Board involvement and effectiveness, including:

  • Redefining fundraising: It’s not just asking for money
  • The psychology of fundraising: Why donors give
  • Developing a Board fundraising menu
  • Motivating and supporting your Board
