Crowdfunding represents a new way for entrepreneurs, artists and individuals to fund their projects. This workshop will cover the basics of crowdfunding and how to develop a crowdfunding campaign. This workshop is perfect for the
beginner, someone thinking about working on their first campaign with a funding goal of several hundred dollars up to $20K. A workbook will be provided to guide the development of individual campaigns along with access to online resources.
About the Presenter:
Shawn Winkler-Rios is the owner of Soloprenur, a local business offering consulting and online entrepreneurial training. He was Executive Director for eDev for 10 years and past board member & chair of the Oregon Micro-Enterprise Network (OMEN). He also serves on the board for the Center for Rural Entrepreneurship located in Lincoln, Nebraska.
