About this event
Volunteer training can and should be an engaging and motivating part of the volunteer experience. This workshop will give you insight into designing effective training based not only on the content that you need to cover, but the needs and learning styles of your volunteers. The focus will be on interactive, experiential learning for adults. During the workshop, we will practice what we preach and engage you in the types of activities that you can then use with your volunteers. Be prepared to have fun and absorb some solid learning theory and techniques at the same time.
