For the Nonprofit Fiscal Managers Association, a new year rings in the annual, and much-anticipated, GAAP Update with Gary McGee. Known for his concise, understandable explanations, Gary will bring us up-to-speed on a number of accounting principles — both new and proposed — which will affect nonprofit organizations.
Explore these topics:
- New requirements issued or pending by the FASB
- Latest activities and standards issued by the AICPA relating to nonprofits
- International Convergence Issues
- A-133 and OMB Compliance Supplement developments
- Yellow Book developments
This session will include the latest information on the updated financial reporting model for nonprofit organizations tentatively proposed by the FASB, including a new intermediate measure of operations, new net asset categories, and other tentative key decisions that will affect nonprofit financial reporting.
Gary has his finger on the pulse of the emerging issues that will impact our work, with a CPA practice that primarily serves nonprofit organizations. He translates new information with a practical perspective, and delivers a briefing that will help us make sense of the issues that matter most this year. Gary’s sessions are extremely popular, so reserve your space now!
