The Association of Fundraising Professionals Oregon & Southwest Washington Chapter (“AFP”) is holding a free informational session on the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation, the internationally-recognized
certification program for professional fundraisers, on Wednesday, May 28th from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will be held at Mercy Corps, 45 SW Ankeny St., Portland, OR 97204.
The information session offers the opportunity to speak with professionals who have earned the CFRE certification, learn more about what the exam
preparation course covers, and how to begin preparing for the exam, and what to anticipate when taking the exam.
AFP will offer a five-session CFRE Exam Preparation Course Series from July 30 through August 27. Eligibility requirements for taking the examination can be found at www.cfre.org. Cost of the CFRE Exam Preparation Course is $75 for AFP members and $125 for non-members.
