About this event

Throughout her life Sally Bush (1860-1946) was noted for her hospitality and “quiet philanthropy” which included feeding hungry people at the back door of Bush House. As part of the Young Artists’ Showcase exhibition, gallery visitors are encouraged to place canned and
non-perishable food items in the Marion-Polk Food Share barrel in the Camas Gallery in the Bush Barn Art Center. Each month Marion-Polk Food Share serves an average of 9,000 families which includes emergency food for 16,000 children in Marion and Polk counties.
