Many nonprofit leaders are carrying more responsibility than their organizations were designed to hold. When leadership becomes isolating, trust can weaken, collaboration suffers, and both leaders and teams begin to feel stressed and burnout. 

This interactive session explores practical ways to build trust, share leadership, and promote organizational wellness. Participants will engage in guided reflection and small-group exercises that help leaders understand how trust, belonging, and decision-making function within their teams. Participants will leave with simple tools they can immediately apply with staff to strengthen collaboration, reduce leadership isolation, and support healthier organizational cultures. 

This session is suited for nonprofit executive directors, program leaders, and managers leading teams in high-demand environments. 

By the end of this session, participants will:

  • Recognize how leadership isolation affects trust, belonging, and team wellbeing 
  • Explore ways shared leadership strengthens collaboration and reduces strain 
  • Practice reflection tools leaders can use with their teams 
  • Leave with exercises that support organizational wellness and trust
