About this event

The Clatsop County Nonprofit Resource Roundup is designed to empower nonprofit staff and volunteers with the knowledge and tools to secure and manage grant funding effectively

Session Agenda:

  • Registration begins/ Networking: 12:15 pm – 12:30 pm
  • Lunch: 12:30 pm – 1:00 pm (Lunch will be provided)
  • Funders Panel: 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
  • Workshop: 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm

Part 1: Funders Panel Discussion 

Hear directly from a panel of Oregon-based funders as they share their current funding priorities, application processes, and tips for successful proposals. This session will include a moderated Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity on how to align their work with funder expectations. Panelists include representatives from: 

  • Kimberly Thornberry, M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust
  • Levi Williams, The Ford Family Foundation
  • Tyler Hobbs, Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation
  • Erin Dysart, Meyer Memorial Trust

Part 2: Grant Readiness & Success Training 

Following the panel, participate in a 1-hour interactive training focused on building strong, competitive grant applications and implementing grants successfully. This session will cover key elements of grant readiness, common pitfalls to avoid, and strategies for effective grant management. 

Whether you’re new to grant writing or looking to sharpen your skills, this event offers valuable insights and practical guidance to help your organization thrive.
