On the other hand, who evaluates the board? As a group of community volunteers holding the mission, vision, and values of the organization as their guide, how does a board know if their efforts and engagement meet the organization’s needs?
In this workshop and discussion, Agnes Zach and Kaye O'Kearny of Nonprofit Professionals Now will detail how to make evaluations clear, constructive, and consistent. Participants will learn about conducting effective board and executive director evaluation processes, along with adaptable templates and resources to ensure clarity and supportive feedback. In this moment for nonprofits, evaluations can aid in building trust and teamwork, demonstrating how the executive director and board’s time and effort impact the organization.
