Misadventures in Artificial Intelligence: Apply the Right Use of Tools

Virtual
  • Member Price: $40.00
  • Non-member Price: $60.00

About this event

Artificial Intelligence is transforming the nonprofit landscape by streamlining workflows, sparking creativity, and raising entirely new challenges. On the other hand, not every tool delivers on its promise, and not every shortcut serves our mission. In this candid session, we’ll share real-world missteps, surprising wins, and discuss the role of AI in the nonprofit sector. Participants will explore how to integrate AI with discernment, ask the hard questions about ethics and bias, and ensure technology remains a servant to the work, not the other way around.

In this session, participants will:

  • Examine Real-World Lessons – Learn from case studies where AI both supported and undermined nonprofit goals.
  • Practice Critical Evaluation – Apply a framework for assessing AI tools for bias, accessibility, and ethical impact.
  • Integrate With Purpose – Develop strategies to ensure AI use aligns with organizational values and capacity.

Cost

$40 for NAO Members
$60 for Nonmembers

This event is Network Pass eligible.
