Erica Briggs is a learning facilitator, DEIB consultant, community caretaker, creative artist, and writer. In each capacity, she is a storyteller, sharing connections that equip, inspire, and support healing and growth. Born and raised in Oregon, Erica has traversed the globe, living and working in various locations. Currently, she is a Nonprofit Education Specialist at NAO, the owner and residential manager of a co-operative living community, and the founder and CEO of a small arts and nature nonprofit based in Troutdale. As a single mother, she earned a BA in Communications at Mills College in Oakland, CA, and a Master's in Africana Studies at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, where she studied the social construction of race in America through literature. For over 25 years, she has served various roles in nonprofits, and both traditional and alternative learning environments from elementary through college. When she is at play, you will likely find her wandering in her garden, making a mess in her art studio, or hiking with her children to the nearest body of water.

Cliff Jones is Consulting Partner at Capacity Building Partnerships. He is an organizational development consultant and a human rights activist with over 30 years of experience in working in nonprofit, government, labor and for-profit organizational development. He has experience as a frontline staff, supervisor, project manager, and executive director. He has been working in advancing diversity, equity and inclusion for over 30 years. He was a staff consultant with NAO for 25 years. Cliff has served on the boards of MRG Foundation, Funding Exchange Foundation, Oregon Minority AIDS Coalition, Multnomah Legal Service Workers Union, and Peer Counseling Community. He has been a trainer for the Black Leadership and Community Development Institute and is a recipient of Nordstrom’s Cultural Diversity Community Service Award.

Hanif is a managing partner and a principal consultant at the Center Consultancy and an author of the book, Another World. In his position he is provided the opportunity to work with partner organizations, school districts, foundations and community leaders to strategically and urgently advance equity and inclusion efforts. Hanis also the great fortune to work with and support the amazing team at the Center; together they are focused on building a thriving organization that models the principles of equity and inclusion internally while providing the highest level of services externally. In addition, he works with executive teams, coach's CEO’s or top-level executives in organizations on the facilitation side. Internally, Hanif helps to develop programs, hang with staff, and support their executive team in figuring out how to keep the Center's doors open!
