The outdoor nonprofit sector is facing a rapidly shifting policy landscape, especially when it comes to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. In this joint webinar hosted by the Nonprofit Association of Oregon (NAO), Oregon Trails Coalition (OTC), and Trailkeepers of Oregon (TKO), we’ll take stock of the latest federal actions impacting DEIB efforts and funding, and explore how trail and recreation-focused organizations can adapt with clarity and care.
We’ll hear from NAO on the broader nonprofit policy outlook and learn how one trails nonprofit is holding the line on values while supporting staff and volunteers through the storm. The session will close with a community discussion on strategies for messaging, morale, and mission alignment in times of change. For this Q&A we’ll also be joined by OTC director Steph Noll and a statewide grants coordinator to help answer questions and get real-world insight.
Whether you're rewriting grant proposals, worrying about volunteer engagement, or just trying to make sense of it all — we hope this conversation can help add a little more clarity on the trail ahead.
