About this event

In a time marked by deep uncertainty and growing strain on nonprofit organizations, this 90-minute session offers a clear-eyed look at the current state of Oregon’s nonprofit sector. Led by the Executive Director of the Nonprofit Association of Oregon, this session will provide a candid update on the challenges, shifts, and emerging realities facing nonprofit leaders across the state.

Participants will gain:

  • A Statewide Overview: A data-informed snapshot of Oregon’s nonprofit landscape, including trends in funding, staffing, and service demand.
  • Key Issues & Concerns: A frank discussion of the most urgent challenges—such as financial instability, workforce fatigue, policy unpredictability, and widening community needs.
  • Cautious Opportunities: While the road ahead is uncertain, we’ll explore areas where innovation, collaboration, and strategic adaptation may offer a path forward.
  • Interactive Dialogue: Space for open conversation, peer exchange, and shared reflection on what it means to lead in a time of prolonged disruption.

Who Should Attend:
This session is designed for nonprofit executives, board members, and senior staff who are navigating complex decisions and seeking clarity—not easy answers—in a rapidly evolving environment.
