Executive Director at Nonprofit Association of Oregon
Learn moreJoin us for an update from NAO regarding the federal Executive Orders, Actions and new Congressional budget package called the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill.” We will discuss what impacts have already been felt and may yet be anticipated for Oregon’s nonprofits and communities.
We are living through unprecedented times and nonprofits in Oregon, regardless of whether they receive Federal funding, have been and will continue to be impacted by these changes. With a combination of cuts to critical human, education, and social services AND a down-turned economy, charitable giving alone will not be able to offset the cuts or fill the gaps being created. In this session, we will take a clear-eyed look at what is happening and how Oregon’s nonprofits can plan and act as they navigate this new reality.
Jim White, Executive Director and Phillip Kennedy-Wong, Director of Public Policy of NAO will provide insights on what we know so far, how your nonprofit may be impacted, and what we know so far regarding the public and philanthropic sectors’ responses to these issues.
Please note that this session will not be recorded, so please ensure you are able to attend live during the scheduled time.
This webinar is free and open for all to attend. Registration is required.
