Workshop

Nonprofit Town Hall with Senator Ron Wyden

Online
  • Free and open to all

About this event

Nonprofit leaders are invited to an exclusive virtual town hall conversation with U.S. Senator Ron Wyden. This gathering offers an opportunity to connect directly with the Senator, share the vital work your organization is doing, and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the nonprofit sector.

Senator Wyden, Ranking Member of the United States Senate Committee on Finance, will share insights into his current legislative priorities, his ongoing support for Oregon’s nonprofit ecosystem, and what he sees on the horizon. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions and concerns (space provided during registration) to help shape a productive dialogue about the federal role in supporting nonprofits across the state.

Open to all nonprofit organizations—regardless of geographic location within Oregon.

Oregonians know Senator Wyden as a senator who listens. Always citing the need to “throw open the doors of government,” he holds an open-to-all town hall meeting in each of Oregon’s 36 counties each year. Thus far he has held more than 680 meetings. Wyden’s dedication to hearing all sides of an issue and looking for common sense, non-partisan solutions has won him trust on both sides of the aisle. He is known for his commitment to an open government and has been routinely recognized as one of the Senate’s foremost health policy thinkers. We are honored to have him join us for this session.

This webinar will not be recorded, so please ensure you are able to attend live during the scheduled time.
