Jackie started in February 2018 as the Foundation's third program officer and, in September 2021, became the Chief Programs Strategist. She works to support prospective grantees, builds and maintains relationships in the broader community, researches nonprofit issues and organizations, reviews proposals, completes site visits, and provides recommendations on proposals to the Trustees. She serves as a committee member on the Foundation's Black Equity Movement Initiative, as the president of the board for Grantmakers of Oregon and SW Washington, and she sits on several nonprofit boards. Before joining the Foundation, Jackie dedicated over two decades of her professional career to culturally specific nonprofits. She brings a wealth of experience in culturally specific and responsive practices within K-16 education, out-of-school-time programs, and mentoring initiatives. Jackie has served in diverse leadership roles, including executive director, director, and manager, and has been instrumental in driving impactful work at organizations such as Airway Science for Kids, Inc., Self-Enhancement, Inc. (SEI) in Portland, Opportunities Industrialization Center of Washington, and Heritage University on the Yakama Indian Reservation. Jackie’s expertise includes launching programs from the ground up, developing and implementing processes and procedures, facilitating coalitions and partner networks, providing direct services to youth and families, and conducting data assessment and evaluation. Her comprehensive background reflects a deep commitment to fostering equity and creating opportunities for underserved communities.

Tyler Hobbs (he/him) is a philanthropy and nonprofit professional with a background in education, fundraising, and organizational development. He began his career as a high school teacher and school administrator in East Los Angeles and Spokane, before transitioning to fundraising in 2018. In 2020, he was recruited to support the growth of the Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation. As a leader in the foundation’s development, he has helped to build the foundation’s early infrastructure and grant-making strategy. Today the Foundation distributes more than $20 million annually to hundreds of organizations across Oregon.
