About this event

Join NAO for a virtual Letter-Writing Workshop to support the Oregon Nonprofit Grant & Contract Modernization Act, Senate Bill 602. This bill aims to address long-standing challenges in grants and contracting by modernizing state processes, ensuring fair funding, and strengthening partnerships between the government and nonprofits—empowering nonprofits to pay livable wages and focus on building stronger communities.

At this interactive session, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about SB 602, ask any technical questions, and receive guidance on how to write a compelling letter of support.

We’ll provide tip sheets, sample letters, talking points, and personalized support to help you craft your message effectively.

Your voice matters! Personalized letters from individuals and organizations can make a powerful difference in shaping policy. Whether you’re a nonprofit leader, community advocate, or someone passionate about positive change, your testimony can help push this bill forward.

Let’s work together to modernize nonprofit funding and make our voices heard!
