The Advancing Women Leaders program recognizes that while progress has been made, women continue to experience unique challenges in today’s workplace. Through a combination of self-assessment exercises, strategic and guided learning, connection building with peers, and commitment to focused action following each session, this program empowers professional women to confidently and strategically lead themselves and others as they advance to higher levels of leadership.
In twelve one-hour interactive sessions, you will:
- Examine the double bind and how to challenge gender stereotypes in the workplace.
- Explore how to overcome impostor syndrome and build confidence.
- Clarify your short and longer-term career goals, including action steps to achieve them.
- Define strategic relationships and develop a plan to pursue them.
- Learn how to maximize your communication skills, particularly when engaging with different communication styles.
- Build your influence and political savvy to make your voice heard.
- Leverage authentic self-promotion strategies to expand your visibility.
- Shift from a tactical to strategic mindset.
- Adopt time management strategies that boost your productivity and overall work/life integration.
- Develop inclusive leadership skills that foster greater psychological safety.
