Alternative Leadership Structures: Co-Directorship

Online Event
  • Member Price: $175.00
  • Non-member Price: $235.00

About this event

A growing number of nonprofits no longer have a traditional leadership structure in which one executive director leads the organization. As nonprofits continue to navigate funding, staffing, and other major changes, alternative leadership models are a strategic way for nonprofit leaders to manage demanding workloads and ensure organizational sustainability. This series will provide a comprehensive exploration of the co-director nonprofit leadership model, offering practical insights on how to make this structure work effectively. This cohort will feature experienced nonprofit leaders who will share their experiences with co-directorship. Come ready and with an open mind to ask questions, participate in peer discussions, and learn from real-life case studies.

Space is limited. Interested participants must register by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23.

Cohort Guidelines:

  • This cohort is limited to 20 individuals with no more than two representatives from one organization.
  • Organizations should have paid employees (approx. three FTE employees or greater).
  • Nonprofit directors, HR leaders, or those interested in experimenting with alternative leadership structures should attend. Nonprofits that implemented a co-directorship model within the past 18 months should also attend.
  • Participants make a commitment to attend all sessions so we can collectively work together and build a network of support.
  • Conversations will be held as confidential to allow for depth and breadth of exploration. Cohort sessions will not be recorded.
  • Participants will help guide the sessions and materials to meet their priorities.
