Tim Rusk brings over 30 years of nonprofit work experience to his position as Nonprofit Education Specialist at NAO. He was executive director of an early childhood program in Central Oregon and led the organization from start-up, to a well-respected, tri-county program, and through a successful leadership transition when he left after 20 years. He loves learning, helping people succeed, applying best-practices, and being a part of a strong team. He graduated from UC Santa Cruz (go slugs!), has a Masters in Organization Development from Sonoma State University, and believes in the transformative power of working together for the common good.

Noreen has served as President and CEO of United Way of Lane County since February 2012 and has over thirty-one years of experience with United Ways across the country. In addition to her work with United Way, Dunnells serves on a variety of community boards including: Oregon Medical Group, Poverty and Homelessness Steering Committee, Connected Lane County, the Lane Workforce Council Board, the Eugene Chamber Economic Development Council and a member of the downtown Rotary club. She also serves as the Board chair of the United Ways of the Pacific Northwest.

Annie Herz has more than 25 years of progressive leadership experience in the nonprofit and higher education sectors, in addition to decades as a trainer and leadership consultant. She serves as the Executive Director of Sponsors, Inc., a national model in reentry services. Sponsors was founded in 1973 and serves over 1,000 people annually, providing a robust array of housing and reentry services. Annie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience related to organizational development, leadership development, conflict resolution, restorative justice and reentry services.

Meghan Melton is the Executive Director of Riverview Center for Growth, a mental health non-profit dedicated to supporting youth, adults, and families across Lane County. Under Meghan’s leadership, Riverview has expanded its reach by providing compassionate, trauma-informed care to those in crisis while building meaningful connections with community partners. Before stepping into this role in 2022, Meghan spent over 15 years in direct service as a school social worker and intensive outpatient therapist. She previously served as Outpatient Program Director and Child and Family Therapist at The Child Center, now known as Riverview Center for Growth, where she advocated for underserved youth and families navigating mental and behavioral health challenges. Meghan holds a Master of Social Work from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Child Studies from Vanderbilt University. In 2024, she completed the Women’s Leadership Program at Yale School of Management, further enriching her approach to organizational leadership and community-based care. As a passionate advocate for accessible mental health services, Meghan continues to champion innovative programs and collaborative partnerships to create lasting change.
