Allison is a strategic thinker with a systems-oriented approach, dedicated to partnering with mission-driven organizations in areas such as strategic planning, board governance, leadership development, program design and implementation, fundraising, and organizational capacity building. Her curiosity fosters authentic dialogue and sparks innovative ideas that translate what is possible into what is practical. She has successfully led a private foundation, collaborating with boards of directors to secure funding and community-based organizations to implement impactful grant programs and innovative projects. Over her 25-year career she has worked with a variety of organizations including Head Start, Early Head Start, United Way, Boys & Girls Clubs, children’s therapy clinics, health insurance companies, community foundations, and tribal organizations. Drawing on her decades of experience working in both urban and rural settings, Allison is particularly sensitive to the unique challenges that geography presents to different organizations. With extensive experience in building strategic, cross-sector partnerships, Allison excels at working in partnerships with organizations to design plans that meet both short- and long-term objectives, develop financial sustainability strategies, build strong partnerships between boards of directors and leadership, and execute projects that enhance short- and long-term outcomes in communities. Allison holds a master’s degree in public administration from Seattle University and a bachelor’s degree in health promotion and education from Oregon State University.
