Why and How a Four-Day Workweek Can Benefit Your Nonprofit

Online Event
  • Member Price: $20.00
  • Non-member Price: $40.00

About this event

Is your nonprofit considering implementing a four-day workweek but unsure how you can still achieve your mission? Join two leaders in the movement for a four-day workweek to learn why it matters, how it could benefit your nonprofit work in Oregon, and how to make the switch.

Nonprofits vary greatly in missions and communities served and may even need to operate with round-the-clock staffing. Organizations that have experimented with shorter workweeks, however, reported increased employee wellbeing and revenue. In another survey, 95% of the employers who piloted a four-day workweek intended to keep it due to no loss in revenue or decrease in productivity. The four-day workweek has also been key in advancing environmental justice, gender justice, and social cohesion.

Designed for nonprofit leadership—executive directors and HR and operations professionals—this session will dive into culture and staff retention benefits, legal and logistical implications, and practical steps to help you design the perfect approach for your organization.

Thank You Funders

Meyer Memorial Trust and M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust.

Cost

$20 for NAO Members
$40 for Nonmembers
