About this event

Join us as we delve into the art of board succession planning and recruitment. From cultivating prospective board members to expressing gratitude to those finishing their term, this comprehensive workshop covers every aspect of board development. It equips you with the skills to build a robust and resilient leadership pipeline for your organization’s sustainable growth and impact.

Participants will explore a practical multi-step process for board development, which can be adapted and implemented non-sequentially to meet each organization’s unique needs and capacity. They will be encouraged to prioritize their organization’s primary board development need(s) and sketch a preliminary outline of an actionable board development plan.

NAO is committed to creating inclusive learning environments and providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Automatic closed captioning via Zoom is turned on by default for all NAO virtual sessions. For other accommodation requests, please contact us at [email protected]. Advanced notice of at least 10 days is appreciated.
