With foundation giving on a downward trend and the grant landscape growing more competitive, it’s more important than ever for your organization to have a strategic approach to grantseeking. In this virtual session, we’ll discuss best practices for developing a grant strategy that honors your needs and capacity by focusing on mission alignment, program assessment and goal setting, budget analysis, cash flow management, and building a grant calendar. We’ll also discuss the importance of discernment in grantseeking, ensuring that your team knows when to say “yes,” “no,” or “not at this time.” After this session, you will be empowered to think more holistically and intentionally about your annual grant strategy and move forward with actionable steps to optimize your grantseeking. Together we’ll unlock the power of having a grant strategy and its effect on your organization’s efficiency, sustainability, and impact.
