Event Description

Title
Cultivating a Thriving Multigenerational Organization

Cohort Facilitator
Alexandra Reese, Founder, OpaStrategy

Are you struggling to lead a high-performing multigenerational organization? It’s perfectly understandable given the unique composition of the workforce. For the first time in modern history, there are five generations in the workforce. Each generation has a unique life stage and shared lived experience, so each brings into the workforce its own priorities, needs, communication styles, and work preferences. Most organizations have more diversity than ever in their workplace. How can you create a cohesive team and culture while embracing this rich diversity within your organization?

In this highly-interactive cohort, we will answer the above question together so you can create a high-performing multigenerational organization. We will focus on the top issues that most leaders face including:

  • Creating an intentional culture that embraces diversity
  • Adopting policies that work for everyone
  • Developing managers who are capable of building and leading diverse teams
  • Cultivating healthy communication
  • Effectively resolving conflict

This cohort emphasizes learning through action. You will learn new frameworks, tools, and practice to strengthen your multigenerational organization. You will leave each session with an assignment to put your new learnings and insights into practice.

Additional Guidelines

  • This learning cohort is intended to support Oregon-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits statewide.
  • Participants make a commitment to attend all sessions so we can collectively work together and build a network of support.
  • Conversations will be held as confidential to allow for depth and breadth of exploration.
  • Limit is 15 individuals per cohort with no more than two (2) representatives from one organization.
