NPFLA is accepting registrations for the next Nonprofit Financial Leadership Academy cohort, which kicks off on April 13 and runs through May 25. In this 7-week course, you will learn both the basic principles and practices of nonprofit finance and the elements of effective financial leadership. In shifting the focus from nonprofit financial management to financial leadership, you will learn to have engaging and strategic conversations with your board and staff teams that lead to better budgeting practices and revenue strategies.
After taking this course, you will have the skills and confidence to make sense of financial statements and tell your organization’s financial story. You will be able to determine the full cost of operating your programs. You will be able to communicate with your board about your organization’s finances. And, you will be able to analyze your nonprofit's financial health.
