At the core of the interview process is the interplay between the assumptions of hiring managers and candidates who are culturally different from one another. This course assists hiring managers to confront their cultural assumptions, biases, prejudices and stereotyping, and to guard against systemic discrimination which impedes the search for the best candidate.

This course will also offer tips on how to develop outreach strategies for targeting a larger pool of candidates, structure more effective selection committees/interview panels, improve reference checking, develop and administer more effective interview questions, and assess culturally different candidates more fairly.
