About this event
Join us for this panel discussion facilitated by University of Oregon Theatre Arts associate professor Michael Malek Najjar. This Roundtable will feature Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) artists and white ally panelists sharing their perspectives on how arts organizations and artist collaborators can promote empowering creative experiences for BIPOC participants. Panelists will respond to facilitator and audience questions as they reflect on the range of experiences they have had through their artistic careers in Lane County. Attendees will be able to learn from these stories, reflections, and suggested resources to determine how they can shift the ways they work with and alongside BIPOC artists and collaborators.
