Have you ever been afraid of saying the wrong thing so you said nothing at all? Or maybe something came out of your mouth that you wish you could take back immediately? If you have, you’re not alone, especially when it comes to diversity and inclusion.
Very well-intended persons who have no intent to cause harm, very often find themselves in diverse work environments not knowing what to say, or how to say it for fear of offending someone. This training session is designed to help participants navigate those difficult moments.
We will examine common statements which people say and that would unintentionally cause harm or offend people. This session offers insight on how to transform many of the conversations we have around issues of diversity.
