About this event

The LUNAFEST virtual film festival is back this spring with an exclusive lineup of films curated for the local nonprofit, Girls on the Run!

Founded locally in 2007, Girls on the Run of Portland Metro is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that inspires girls to recognize their inner strength through their after-school running program. The only program of its kind, Girls on the Run focuses on the important connection between mind and body.

You can support Girls on the Run PDX by purchasing a ticket to the virtual showing on April 29th and participating in the online auction!

Tickets to LUNAFEST are $45 and auction items consist of out-of-town stays at national and international AirBnb homes. Auction winners will be announced following the LUNAFEST showing.

Click the links below to purchase your ticket today and participate in the auction! All proceeds from LUNAFEST will support Girls on the Run of Portland Metro.

The 2021 Season features four (4) short films with a total running time of 65 minutes. Films are titled Knocking Down the Fences, Overexposed, Connection and Betye Saar: Taking Care of Business, plus, there will be a special interview with filmmaker Meg Shutzer and pro softball player and Gold Glove winner AJ Andrews from the film Knocking Down the Fences that will run after the films.
