Join YNPN Portland from 6-7 PM on Thursday, January 28, 2021 for an online event to learn about opportunities to build your skills by joining boards, committees, and more at local nonprofits. Five nonprofits will present on their opportunities, then take questions from those who are interested in learning more or applying.
The participating nonprofits include:
Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Portland – recruiting for its board and committees (programming and marketing)
Free Arts NW – recruiting for its board
Passion Impact – recruiting for board committees
Impact NW – recruiting for its ambassador board
Oregon Organization Development Network – recruiting for consultants to work with nonprofit clients through the Community Consulting Project
Event Schedule:
5:45 PM: Technology check with presenters
6:00 PM: Event begins; welcome, introduction, and event overview
6:05 PM: Presentations by each nonprofit (5-7 minutes each)
6:40 PM: Instructions for Q&A and transition to breakout rooms
6:45 PM: Q&A in breakout rooms
7:00 PM: Event ends, but presenters can continue answering questions in breakout rooms if needed
