The Business of Freelance Grantwriting –$129 ($116 for NAO Members) The Business of Freelance Grantwriting is a course for nonprofit professionals and experienced writers who want to start a freelance grant writing or nonprofit consulting business. The class is also valuable for those who have already started a business and want to reinvigorate their marketing and operating strategy. The course has two components – an online, on-demand curriculum and an optional three-part group video conference series for deeper discussion and networking. The group video series begins on January 25, 5-5:45 pm PST and runs three Mondays. The course walks you through starting a business, developing a business plan, marketing techniques, contracts, best practices for working with clients, handling sticky situations, and ethics.
