Certificate in Grantwriting –$499 ($449 for NAO Members) This comprehensive grant writing course walks students through prospect research, organizational readiness, grant strategy, budget, writing the proposal, building relationships with grantmakers, grants management, reporting, and ethics. The course has two components – an online, on-demand curriculum and an optional nine-part group video 6:45 pm PST and runs weekly on Mondays for 9 sessions. The course is valuable for both beginners and intermediate/advanced writers who are looking to brush up their skills. The course is unique in that each student writes a grant proposal during the course with the encouragement and feedback of the instructor. The proposal must be completed to earn the certificate and can then be added to the student’s portfolio.
