About this event
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) annual Light The Night will look a
little different this year— with a $750,000 fundraising goal, the October
17th walk welcomes teams of friends, family and co-workers to join the fight
against blood cancers.
The virtual event will still include many of the meaningful events including
the Circle of Survivors, the Remembrance Pavilion and the Words of Light.
Participants who raise over $100 will receive a package with a shirt and a
red, yellow or white lantern. The lanterns are especially important as each
color signifies a different relationship with blood cancer: white lanterns
are carried by survivors, red by supporters, and yellow lanterns are carried
by those walking in memory of loved ones lost to blood cancer.
The event will be held on October 17th, 2020 from 6:30-8:30 PM.
