While nonprofits are busy taking care of the needs of our communities, they are simultaneously grappling internally with the challenges of operating their own organizations and dealing with the harsh realities of a situation that is moving fast and constantly changing--especially when it comes to staffing. We know that you are all dealing with many human resources-related issues and challenges and needing answers.
Jenna Reed, VP of HR Services and General Counsel for Cascade Employers Association will provide a short update and overview on how nonprofits can comply with the new Emergency Family First Coronavirus Act and other statutory leaves, company time off policies, potential unemployment questions, etc. For the most part, however, this session will be focused on answering your questions and providing guidance on how nonprofits should be thinking and what they should be doing on the HR front for their organizations and employees.
