The soul speaks in stories – learn to tell the stories that transform. The Hearth's Certificate in Community Storytelling Program is designed to help you learn the practical tools of applied storytelling that deepen connections and draw individuals and communities together in meaningful and healing ways.
The core of the program is a one week concentrated intensive that will be held April 19-24 in Ashland, Oregon. It offers a variety of experiential exercises, individual skill-building, practical teaching, written and online resources. Six months of additional teaching and coaching with Mark Yaconelli is available from May through October 2020 for an additional fee.
The training is both personally and professionally transformative.
Participants include counselors, educators, activists, faith leaders, community organizers, nonprofit volunteers, government officials, artists and business leaders.
Continuing Education Units are available through a partnership with Southern Oregon University.
