Registration for Startup Camp Youth Portland is now OPEN. The event exposes High School students to the fast paced world of social entrepreneurship — in just 54 hours. At SCYP 2020, February 15–17, students will have the opportunity to work with their peers to build, pitch, and launch companies with the support of experienced adult mentors and hear from local leaders in business and philanthropy. It will be three days of intense collaboration, innovation, prototyping, connecting, alliance-building, learning from feedback and taking action to build a better future. Students will work together in teams of 4-8, identify unmet needs in the community, develop their ideas into viable proposals and pitch their work to “investors" for real prizes. The Grand Prize includes an all-expenses paid trip to Canada in summer 2020. Space for the event is limited to the first 60 sign ups and will be done on a first-come first-served basis.
