Presenter
Alexis James, Director of Training and Organization Development, Cascade Employers Association
If your organization is ready to take on the work of diversity, equity, and inclusion but feels apprehensive about where to begin, this is the workshop for you. This workshop unpacks common definitions, systems, and frameworks that can de-center dominant culture and create an inclusive environment for marginalized identities.

About the Presenter

Alexis James, Cascade Employers Association Alexis James is a longtime educator and innovator. She supports Cascade members in activating contemporary responses to leadership development and employee needs through training, coaching, and team building. As a former classroom teacher, she is an engaging and empathetic trainer at meetings, board trainings, and mediations. Prior to joining the Cascade team, she was the Program Director at a statewide literacy nonprofit, where she specialized in creating an inclusive culture through supervision training, data analysis, and diversity, equity, and inclusion implementation. Alexis is a native Oregonian, earning her Master’s Degree from Lewis & Clark College. |
