Technology offers advantages and conveniences to the fiscal management world. In this session, we will explore technology advances in banking, accounting policies for nonprofit organizations, internal controls, fraud prevention, and best practices when utilizing advances in technology.

About the Presenters

Lisa Faust is Vice President of the Nonprofit Services Group at Pacific Continental Bank, a $1.5B community business bank head quartered in Eugene. She has over 20 years of industry experience with the last 14 years at Pacific Continental Bank. Lisa is the Nonprofit Niche team leader overseeing the strategic development and growth of the banks nonprofit focus in all three markets served by Pacific Continental Bank, which include Lane County, Greater Portland/SW Washington, and Greater Seattle. Lisa serves as the Board Treasurer for Quest Center for Integrative Health and is the Portland City Council appointed Board Treasurer for Portland Community Media.

Liz Clarke joined AKT LLP in May of 2007. She is dedicated to serving nonprofit organizations and has extensive training in nonprofit and governmental accounting issues. Liz has also consulted with many of AKT’s clients on evaluating internal controls and strategic and business planning. She has a Masters of Business Administration from Willamette University. No complaints have been filed against Liz by the State Board of Accountancy or other regulatory authorities.
