Description:
On Saturday, June 1st CASA for Children of Multnomah, Washington, and
Columbia Counties will host their 7th Annual Bowl for CASA at King Pins
Beaverton.  This annual event raised over $41,000 in 2018 in support of
CASA’s mission to advocate for the rights, safety, and well being of abused
and neglected children who are under the protection of the courts. This is a
vital source of fundraising revenue in support of CASA’s mission.

CASA’s Ambassador Board, comprised of young professionals representing
Oregon’s top business interests, organize and run the event. Along with
Ambassador Board members, bowlers and supporters consist of CASA’s Board of
Directors, members of the child welfare community, CASA volunteers, foster
families and children represented by CASAs.  Bowlers will be able to enjoy
food and drink, raffle prizes and a photo booth.

Sponsorship opportunities, as well as team lanes, are still available!  If
you are interested in joining us and helping make a difference in a foster
child’s life, please contact Anne Carlson, Assistant Director of
Development, at 503-988-5778 or [email protected].

All proceeds raised from the event directly impact our ability to serve more
children with a CASA volunteer. A CASA passionately and tirelessly works to
guide a child through the trauma of the court system. Oregon law gives CASAs
unusual authority as a ‘party to the case’ so that they are able to
ensure that the system does not ignore a child’s needs and that the judge
has the information to act in the child’s best interests. A CASA is trained
to work with judges, social workers, teachers, foster parents, and family
members to ensure that the safety and well-being of the child is front and
center.
