Description: This workshop explores the legal duties, rights and
responsibilities of board members. It includes: safeguarding charitable
assets, managing restricted funds, understanding financial information and
oversight of nonprofits by the Attorney General. Speakers include Susan
Bower, Asst. Attorney General, Oregon Dept. of Justice, Kirk Harvey, Chief
Investigator (Retired), Oregon Department of Justice and Katherine DeYoung,
CPA, nonprofit accounting and tax specialist.
