About the Speaker

Dafna H. Rand leads Mercy Corps' policy and advocacy and research teams,
manages the organization’s research agenda, and oversees Mercy Corps’
engagement with global institutions. Prior to joining Mercy Corps, Dr. Rand
held a number of leadership positions in government and academia, most
recently as the Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Democracy, Human
Rights, and Labor at the U.S. Department of State.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Lecture begins at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets: $5 Student/Senior, $10 Regular. Tickets can also be purchased in the
Action Center during normal business hours: Monday through Friday, 11 – 5
p.m. All tickets purchased in person do not include additional fees.Use code
