Description:
All of the standard reports within the Raiser’s Edge were written with
Crystal reports. Crystal reports are very versatile and can range from easy
to complex. Before beginning, it is helpful to sketch out on paper what you
want the report to look like, and where that information is located in
Raiser’s Edge. When completed Crystal reports can be added to the,
“Custom Reports” section of the Raiser’s Edge For this class we will
cover the three steps in creating a Crystal Report:
1. creating a query,
2. exporting the data, and
3. formatting the report.
We will create two reports, the first a board member list and the second
report will be a multiyear gift report.
