Description: Are you considering a board position as the President, Treasurer
or Secretary? Or, are you currently an officer and want to be sure you
understand the full scope of your position and how you can improve teamwork?
Join us for a full day of training where you will learn the specific duties
and responsibilities of each officer position and how officers work together
as an effective team. We will breakout into workshops for each position,
which will be led by highly experienced nonprofit professionals to explore
topic specific tools, resources and techniques that will help your officer
team deliver the information your board needs to effectively move your
organization forward. Then, we will come together for a practical discussion
with team-building exercises to pull it all together and help build a
cohesive high-performance team. Finally, we will wrap up with a final
question and answer period.
