About this event

Philanthropic individuals and organizations will be honored at the 2018
Philanthropy Awards Luncheon presented by the Association of Fundraising
Professionals Oregon and Southwest Washington Chapter (AFP) on Wednesday,
November 7. The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hilton
Portland & Executive Tower Hotel, 921 SW Sixth Avenue, Portland, Oregon. The
Presenting Sponsor is the Oregon State University Foundation.

The 32nd annual luncheon celebrates National Philanthropy Day, which
recognizes the contributions of philanthropy and those people active in the
philanthropic community. The Association of Fundraising Professionals hosts
National Philanthropy Day events across the US during the 2nd week in
November.

The 2018 Philanthropy Award recipients are:
•       Connie & Lee Kearney, Vollum Award for Lifetime Philanthropic Achievement
•       Susan & John Bates, Outstanding Philanthropists
•       Kimberly Cooper, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
•       Reser's Fine Foods, Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation
•       CARES Northwest, Outstanding Volunteer Group
•       #Every28Days, Outstanding Innovative Project

Table reservations and individual tickets are available at

are $60 for AFP members before October 5 ($80 after October 5) and $75 for
nonmembers before October 5 ($100 after October 5). Tables are $600 for AFP
members before October 5 ($800 after October 5) and $750 for nonmembers
($1000 after October 5).
