FORUM DISCUSSION TOPIC: Success Factors for Nonprofits in Northeastern Oregon
As society continues to change, nonprofits are often at the inflection point for that change and feel the pinch and the pull. Nonprofits are often trying to do so much with not enough. Over the past few years, NAO has been involved in applied research on best practices in nonprofit management. Some of our findings reinforce commonly held understandings, yet others are controversial and challenge conventional wisdom.
NAO is convening four regional forums in Oregon to:
- Share our findings on best practices in nonprofit management so you can benefit from this information.
- Engage nonprofit leaders in a conversation on these findings and hear your ideas and experiences to better understand the work of nonprofits in northeastern Oregon.
- Add insights from northeastern Oregon nonprofits to the body of knowledge on nonprofits in Oregon.
This is the first of four regional forums that NAO is convening in Oregon! This should be an invigorating discussion, and we know you have a lot to contribute. We hope you can join us!
Area of Nonprofit Excellence - Purpose & Strategy
|
Every learning opportunity NAO offers is aligned with one of nine areas of our Principles and Practices for Nonprofit Excellence that NAO believes are critical to every nonprofit’s effectiveness and success. Diversity, equity and inclusion are essential for a thriving, effective and successful nonprofit; therefore, DE&I is embedded across all nine areas. This event focuses on Purpose & Strategy.
