This one-day program is designed to provide CEO and board leadership teams from rural nonprofit organizations with the tools and knowledge to develop a strategic plan. Learn what is and is not strategic planning and how your organization can benefit from creating a strategic plan. Discover the important role your organization’s mission and vision play to inform and guide the planning process. In this interactive session, learn the phases and roles of a well-designed planning process and the tools and activities to engage your planning team in a robust planning process. And find out how to keep people accountable and keep your plan alive once your plan is developed!

About the Presenter

Facilitator
Adrienne Graham, Senior Consultant, Nonprofit Association of Oregon

Adrienne Graham is a Senior Consultant for Central Oregon at the Nonprofit Association of Oregon. Based in Sisters, Adrienne has worked with nonprofits for over 12 years as a nonprofit executive director and 20+ years of providing training, consulting and facilitation to the public and private sectors. Prior to joining NAO, Adrienne owned Leapfrog Training & Facilitation, a consulting firm that provided strategic planning, leadership development and organizational effectiveness services to nonprofits, community groups and associations, including NAO. Prior to launching Leapfrog, Adrienne designed and delivered community leadership and organizational development programs for The Ford Family Foundation’s Community Program. Adrienne is a BoardSource-trained facilitator in NonProfit Board Assessment and Development, is certified in Appreciative Inquiry (AI), a certified facilitator for the national Points of Light Foundation Youth Leadership Institute and is a facilitator-trainer for Study Circles.
