About this event
This event is provided by Audubon Society of Portland
Audubon Society of Portland and the High Desert Partnership are excited to host a very special Nature Night: Malheur, One Year Later. This talk will bring together representatives from conservation groups, ranchers, the Harney County Commission, and Malheur Refuge staff to discuss what’s happening on the refuge post-occupation. The panel will discuss how they’re working together with a collaborative vision to restore the amazing landscape on and around the refuge, bridge the divide between urban and rural communities, and how they will continue to work together on one of the most challenging landscapes in the western United States. Join us February 15 in the lower ballroom at Montgomery Park for this informative panel and presentation on the future of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.
