About this event

This event is provided by The Audubon Society of Portland

Audubon Society of Portland is excited to welcome Tierra Curry, senior scientist and campaign director at the Center for Biological Diversity, to our next Nature Night: Saving Amphibians and Reptiles in the Midst of Earth’s Sixth Extinction. Tierra, a former amphibian biologist, will discuss increasing threats to local reptile and amphibian species, including climate change, habitat loss, pollution and the conditions needed for the survival of these fascinating and imperiled animals. Her talk will also highlight recent extinctions and the national efforts using science, policy, and advocacy to protect endangered species and their habitat. Join us on December 13 in Heron Hall for this informative talk on saving frogs, salamanders, turtles and other fascinating creatures!

Attached is a photo by Rhett Wilkins for the event of a Rough-skinned Newt.
