Philanthropy and the Cannabis Industry: Creating High Impact Partnerships

Lagunitas Community Room 237 NE Broadway, #300
Portland

About this event

This event is provided by WVDO

As the Cannabis Industry grows in Oregon and beyond, so does its interest in
being a strong community and philanthropic supporter. Unfortunately, industry
and nonprofit leaders alike are facing challenges engaging in
mutually-beneficial partnerships.

In an effort to address these challenges, WVDO has teamed up with Nirvana
Ranch Philanthropy to host a unique panel discussion that brings together
leaders from the nonprofit sector and the cannabis industry to share their
perspectives. Building on experience nationally, join this informed
conversation that will guide productive partnerships. Participants will hear
the results of the country’s first research project on the Cannabis Industry
& Social Responsibility, explore cases of successful partnerships and engage
in discussions that guide future conversations with industry leaders, board
members and fundraising staff.

Mark your calendar for Thursday, October 6th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the
new Lagunitas Community Room at 237 NE Broadway.

Cost: $40
